Wealth Manager role at INDmoney.
Responsibilities
- AUM Growth: Manage and scale a dedicated book of approximately 150 HNI clients, with a current AUM (non CASA or Real‑Estate) of ₹120–150 Crores and strategic roadmap to scale to ₹300–350 Crores.
- Holistic Wealth Management: Formulate comprehensive investment strategies covering Global Equities (US Markets), Domestic Equities, Mutual Funds (PMS/AIF), and Fixed Income instruments based on the client’s risk appetite and financial horizon.
- Performance Review: Conduct structured monthly portfolio reviews via video conferencing. Analyze performance against benchmarks, discuss asset allocation, and recommend rebalancing strategies to ensure alignment with long‑term goals.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Deepening:
- Proactive Communication: Maintain regular, high‑touch engagement through scheduled calls and digital channels (WhatsApp/Email) to address queries, provide market updates, and ensure the client feels prioritized.
- Wallet Share Expansion: Systematically analyze client portfolios to identify gaps, drive growth through fresh capital infusion, initiating SIPs, and consolidating external assets onto the INDmoney platform.
- Educational Leadership: Demystify complex financial concepts. Educate clients on the benefits of global diversification (specifically US Stocks) and tax‑efficient investing in a clear, jargon‑free manner.
- Compliance & Ethical Standards:
- Fiduciary Responsibility: Adhere to a strict “No Misselling” policy. Ensure all investment recommendations are suitable, transparent and in the client’s best interest.
- Risk Management: Rigorous verification of client risk profiles before executing investment strategies.
Education & Certifications
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from a Tier‑1 Business School, Chartered Accountant (CA), or CFA Level 2/3 candidate.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM), NISM certifications in PMS/AIF or equivalent.
Experience & Competencies
- Experience: Minimum of 4–8 years in Wealth Management, Private Banking or Investment Advisory.
- Managed large institutional investors/UHNIs/HNIs or Family offices.
- 2–4 years of experience in allocating niche asset classes like PMS, AIF, Structured Products.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Asset Allocation, Modern Portfolio Theory, Taxation (Indian & US), and Estate Planning basics.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with high emotional intelligence (EQ). Ability to demonstrate empathy and build trust with sophisticated investors is paramount.
