Job summary

Dr Lal PathLabs is hiring a Phlebotomist to perform daily phlebotomy duties at the lab/centre with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and safety. The role requires DMLT or BMLT/BVoc MLT qualifications and 1–5 years of related experience.

The candidate will manage safety, waste handling, and proper documentation. Responsibilities include maintaining specimen labeling accuracy, verifying TRFs, and addressing patient queries while adhering to guidelines.

Qualifications

• DMLT/BMLT/Bvoc MLT qualifications required.
• Possess 1-5 years of experience in phlebotomy or lab work.
• Knowledge of safety and biomedical waste management in lab areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily phlebotomy activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure safety and biomedical waste management in the sample collection area.
• Maintain records and documentation related to samples and processes.
• Ensure correct labeling of specimens and adherence to prerequisites of sample collection.
• Verify TRFs, handle patient queries and dispose waste per guidelines.

• Ensuring the correct labelling of Specimens and adherence to all prerequisites of sample collection
• Verifying TRFs, Handle patients' queries, dispose biohazard and other waste material as per guidelines
