Alstom invites applications for the role of Warehouse Manager in Mumbai. You will lead warehouse operations, optimize layouts, manage 3PL performance, and ensure safety, quality and timely material flows supporting production lines.

You will work with cross-functional teams (Logistics Engineering, Quality, Finance and Planning) and drive continuous improvement while mentoring supervisors and operators to deliver excellence in logistics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience from a Mechanical Engineering background.
• SAP, Advance Excel and digital transformation skills are required.
• ERP experience, SAP preferred, especially IM and WM modules.
• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities.
• Knowledge of logistics operations and inventory management.
• Agile, inclusive and responsible mindset.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in logistics.

Responsabilités

• Ensure employees operate in a safe and compliant environment per HSE policies.
• Manage physical material flows, including reception, storage, kitting, and shipping.
• Guarantee material availability, integrity, and timely delivery to production lines.
• Oversee ERP implementation and ensure correct usage by logistics operators.
• Monitor and improve warehouse performance via KPIs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and APSYS programs.
• Provide leadership by setting objectives, coaching, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics issues.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring the alignment of physical and system material flows, enabling seamless operations that directly impact production efficiency and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Logistics Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Planning), manage warehouse layouts and inventory accuracy, and lead a team of supervisors and operators to deliver excellence in logistics operations.

Youll specifically take care of optimizing storage space and defining warehouse layouts, but also managing 3PL (Third Party Logistician) performance and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• Skills: SAP, Advance excel, Digital tranformation, Warehouse mandatory
• Managing physical material flows, including reception, storage, kitting, and shipping, to align with system processes
• Guaranteeing material availability, integrity, and timely delivery to production lines
• Overseeing ERP implementation and ensuring its correct usage by logistics operators
• Monitoring and improving warehouse performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives and deploying Alstom Production System (APSYS) programs
• Providing leadership to your team by setting objectives, coaching, and fostering professional growth
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics issues and implement corrective actions

All about you

• 8+yrs of expereince from Mechanical background.
• SAP, advance excel, digital transformation, warehouse mandatory (min 7 to 8yrs)
• Experience with ERP solutions (SAP preferred, particularly IM and WM modules)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities
• Knowledge of logistics operations and inventory management
• Agile, inclusive, and responsible mindset
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in logistics
