You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of goods and materials that are essential for Alstom’s projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Industrial Planning, Logistics, Procurement, and Quality), monitor supplier performance, and contribute to risk management strategies, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing supplier portfolios and ensuring the accuracy of material planning data, but also collaborate on supplier performance improvement plans.
Expressing delivery needs to suppliers using dedicated tools
Monitoring supplier performance KPIs and proposing action plans for improvement
Ensuring the accuracy of material planning data and ERP settings
Analyzing supplier confirmations and mitigating risks to production timelines
Maintaining delivery schedules and tracking missing parts until availability
Resolving goods receipt issues and ensuring non-conformance replacements

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain
Experience or understanding of supply chain concepts and continuous improvement processes
Knowledge of materials requirements planning and inventory management techniques
Familiarity with supplier delivery performance management
A Supply Chain certification is a plus
Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP
Strong data analytics and project management basics
