Warehouse Associate (Night) - Salem, VA

PURPOSE

Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., located in Central and Southwest VA, is a large beverage distribution company seeking a full-time WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (NIGHT) for our Salem division.

The individual in this position will be responsible for safely picking, moving, and loading our beverage products onto our delivery trucks. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager (Night).

Job Type: Full-time, Nonexempt

Hourly Rate: $19.00 an hour

Hours: Monday – Friday 2 PM - Finish

DUTIES

• Pick orders with accuracy and speed.
• Replenish pick locations as needed.

• Build pallets that travel safely without damage.
• Load delivery trucks and other vehicles.
• Maintain a clean environment.
• Adhere to strict safe working practices and company policies.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Previous experience with computerized warehousing preferred.
• Demonstrated experience using a forklift, or electric pallet jack experience preferred.
