Job summary

You will configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Always On groups, perform backups and DR planning, and collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and security.

• Manage and maintain MSSQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Always On availability groups.
• Perform backup and recovery operations, disaster recovery planning, and execution.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and resource allocation.
• Administer and support additional databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance measures.
• Automate routine database tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell and T-SQL.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for database design and optimization.
• Monitor database health, identify issues, and apply patches and upgrades as needed.
• Support cloud and on-premises database environments, including migration and replication.
• SOC1 and SOX control execution.
