Medanta in India is seeking a dedicated nurse with GNM/B.Sc. Nursing to join our nursing team. You will assess patients, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document care while collaborating with doctors and the healthcare team.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, infection control, and adherence to safety standards. You should have valid registration, strong clinical and communication skills, and be comfortable with night shifts as part of rotating duties.

Qualifications

• GNM/B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution and valid registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients nursing needs and provide appropriate nursing care.
• Monitor and record patients vital signs and clinical condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency care.
• Maintain infection-control and hygiene practices.
• Ensure safe handling and administration of medications.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment, medication, diet, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain ward cleanliness, safety, and proper nursing equipment.
• Report any change in the patients condition promptly to the doctor/Ward In-charge.
• Follow hospital protocols, nursing standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
• Participate in shift handovers and maintain effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Handle emergency situations appropriately and provide first aid/CPR as required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
