Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines across data lakes, APIs, and on-prem systems. You will enable near real-time streaming and scalable compute for data workloads on cloud platforms, with emphasis on Snowflake-based solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5–15 years of data engineering experience, strong SQL, and hands-on work with Snowflake, AWS, Fivetran, Matillion, DBT, and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Experience with Snowflake data platform.
• Experience with cloud-based data pipelines and ELT processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Source data from Data Lakes, APIs, and on-premises
• Transform, replicate, and share data across cloud platforms
• Design end-to-end near real-time streams
• Design scalable compute solutions for Data Engineer workloads
• Evaluate performance metrics
• Data engineering experience, including practical experience using Snowflake for
• Data Engineer tasks. In addition, successful candidates may have a working knowledge of Restful APIs, SQL, semi-structured datasets, and cloud native concepts.
• Experience in AWS platform is mandatory.
• Experience in ELT tools Fivetran, Qlik replicate, Matillion,
• Experience with DBT
• Experience creating stored procedures, UDFs in Snowflake
• Experience in Snowpark python .
