Job summary

LTM is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to design and maintain ELT pipelines using DBT with Snowflake as the data warehouse.

You will collaborate with data analysts, data scientists and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable DBT models, optimize Snowflake performance, and ensure data quality, governance, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar roles.

Job description

Snowflake+ DBT

Design develop and maintain ELT data pipelines using DBT with Snowflake as the cloud data warehouse

Collaborate with data analysts data scientists and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable DBT models

Build modular reusable and welldocumented DBT models following best practices eg staging intermediate marts

Optimize performance of Snowflake queries and data models for efficient cost and compute usage

Manage and maintain DBT documentation testing and version control

Implement data quality checks and monitoring using DBT tests

Support data governance efforts including lineage cataloging and documentation

Participate in code reviews and continuously improve data modeling and transformation standards

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in data engineering analytics engineering or a similar role
• Proficiency with DBT Data Build Tool and Snowflake
• Strong SQL skills and experience writing complex queries
• Experience with version control systems eg Git
• Familiarity with data warehouse design patterns starsnowflake schemas
• Understanding of modern data stack tools eg Fivetran Airflow Looker Tableau
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
