Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an experienced frontend engineer with strong AEM expertise in Chennai. You will design components, templates, and workflows within the AEM architecture, configure translations and multi-site management, and translate business needs into functional UI elements.

You will collaborate with leadership, develop reusable code, and ensure QA through tests. Knowledge of Sling, HTL, JCR, OSGi, and MVC frameworks is essential; the role requires agile

Qualifications

• Proven experience in front-end development with modern CSS/JS techniques.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (MVC frameworks).
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.1 or above.
• Familiarity with Apache Sling, HTL, JCR, and OSGi.
• Knowledge of Spring MVC, J2EE, Hibernate, and Maven.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to integrate with HTML/JS/CSS built by front-end developers.

Role & responsibilities

• Configure and set up AEM workflows, Sling mapping, multi-site management, and translation framework.


• Provide architectural solutions for page layout and organization.


• Author personalized dynamic content and implement A/B and/or multi-variant testing.


• Collaborate with project leadership to execute implementations and provide technical guidance.


• Develop reusable code and libraries for future use.


• Translate user and business needs into functional front-end code.


• Monitor and manage the execution of test cases, including reporting.


• Design, develop, and implement data-driven software solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong web front-end development experience, including up-to-date CSS/JavaScript skills.


• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (MVC frameworks).


• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.1 or above.


• Knowledge of Apache Sling, HTL, JCR, and OSGI.
