Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Full Stack Cloud & AI Engineer in Chennai. You will design and develop scalable full-stack apps using ReactJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript/JavaScript, and deploy cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform with GKE.

You will build AI-enabled features, data pipelines with BigQuery/Dataflow/Cloud Composer, and integrate GenAI/LLM services. Strong emphasis on testing, observability and secure engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in full-stack/cloud engineering with practical exposure to AI/GenAI solutions.
• Strong experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience building scalable, secure, high-performance web and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern testing (Jest/Playwright).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable full-stack applications using ReactJS, NodeJS and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Build responsive front-ends with ReactJS, Redux and modern web practices.
• Develop backend services, RESTful APIs and microservices with NodeJS.
• Build and deploy cloud-native apps on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with GKE.
• Create data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow and Cloud Composer.
• Integrate Generative AI/LLM capabilities into apps and backend services.
• Develop RAG-based solutions using embeddings and vector search.
• Build reusable APIs and services for AI model interaction and prompts.
• Implement guardrails, observability and secure engineering practices.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and IaC with Jenkins, Git and Terraform.
• Automated tests with Jest, React Testing Library and Playwright.

Full Stack Cloud & AI Engineer (ReactJS + NodeJS + GCP + AI)

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable full-stack applications using ReactJS, NodeJS and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Build responsive, secure and high-performance user interfaces using ReactJS, Redux/Redux Toolkit and modern web development practices.
• Develop backend services, RESTful APIs and microservices using NodeJS, integrating applications with enterprise platforms and data services.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including containerized workloads on GKE.
• Develop scalable GCP data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and processing of structured and unstructured data.
• Work with BigQuery, Dataflow and Cloud Composer for cloud-based data processing and orchestration.
• Build AI-enabled application capabilities by integrating Generative AI/LLM services into web applications and backend services.
• Develop RAG-based solutions using enterprise data, embeddings and vector search.
• Develop reusable APIs and services for AI model interaction, prompt orchestration, grounding and retrieval workflows.
• Implement prompt engineering, guardrails, observability, logging and secure engineering practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Jenkins, Git and Terraform.
• Implement automated testing using Jest, React Testing Library and Playwright.
• Collaborate within Agile feature teams and contribute to design, code reviews, engineering standards and mentoring.
• Experience: Minimum 6+ years in full-stack/cloud engineering with practical exposure to AI/GenAI solutions.
