Job summary

Vivafit European Fitness for Women in Chromepet, Chennai seeks a qualified Physiotherapist to support rehabilitation, guide corrective exercises, and integrate therapy with the fitness team to enhance member wellbeing.

You will assess, design personalized programs, provide hands-on therapy, educate on injury prevention, and maintain therapy records in a women-centric, supportive environment. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physiotherapy is mandatory; experience in fitness or women’s health preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT / MPT) – mandatory.
• Clinical experience in physiotherapy, preferably in fitness, rehabilitation, or women’s health.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, exercise therapy, posture correction, and manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and member-handling skills.
• Passionate about women’s wellness, rehabilitation, and preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physiotherapy assessments to evaluate posture, mobility, pain points, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Design personalized rehabilitation and corrective exercise programs for members.
• Provide hands-on therapy when required and ensure safe execution of therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Educate members on injury prevention, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications.
• Support members with specific conditions such as back pain, joint issues, muscle imbalance, etc.
• Work closely with fitness trainers to integrate physiotherapy recommendations into workout plans.
• Provide professional guidance for safe movement patterns during group or individual sessions.
• Participate in fitness assessments and offer insights for corrective improvements.
• Maintain member records, therapy notes, and progress documentation.

Operational Support

• Maintain member records, therapy notes, and progress documentation.
• Support onboarding sessions by identifying physical limitations or risks.
• Ensure therapy space and assessment areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Coordinate with dietitians and club managers for holistic member progress.
