Job summary

ARR Food Processing Tech India in Telangana, India seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and refine machine designs. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, perform design calculations, and ensure drawings and BOMs are accurate and up to date.

You will modify existing designs per customer and production needs, choose materials and components, and maintain design records while upholding confidentiality of technical information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed part drawings.
• Perform necessary design calculations for shafts, bearings, gears, belts, chains, structures, power transmission, etc.
• Modify existing machine designs according to customer and production requirements.
• Select appropriate materials and standard mechanical components for machine design.
• Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and component specifications.
• Prepare and maintain proper drawing revisions, design records, and technical documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of company designs, drawings, and technical information.
