Job summary

Dakshin Ampm Stores in Hyderabad is seeking a skilled cook to prepare Continental and Italian dishes following standard recipes and presentation guidelines. You will manage mise en place, ensure ingredient readiness, and collaborate with the service team to deliver orders promptly.

The role requires maintaining high standards of taste, quality, hygiene and safety, monitoring stock and storage conditions, and working across rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Continental and Italian dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Handle preparation of dishes such as Pasta, Pizza, Sandwiches, Burgers, Sauces and other Western cuisine items.
• Ensure Consistency in taste, quality portion size and presentation.
• Manage daily mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared and available before service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety as per company norms.
• Monitor food stock, freshness and storage conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment and workstations.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders.
• Follow standard recipes, cooking methods and food-cost guidelines.
• Work effectively during busy service periods and manage multiple orders efficiently.
• Follow rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
