Job summary

King’s View Chess Academy in Mumbai is seeking passionate Chess Coaches/Teachers to join our growing team. We train students across schools, preschools, residential societies, clubs, and private learners, focusing on foundational skills, tactics, openings, middlegame and endgame concepts.

We welcome candidates with strong chess knowledge and coaching aptitude. Freshers with high chess proficiency may also apply. Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities with multiple shift options are available.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and understanding of chess.
• Previous coaching/teaching experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates with chess tournament experience or recognized chess ratings are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging chess classes for children and students.
• Teach chess fundamentals, tactics, strategies, openings, middlegame and endgame concepts.
• Prepare students for chess tournaments and competitions.
• Conduct practice games, puzzles, assessments and tournament preparation.
• Monitor students’ progress and provide regular feedback.
• Maintain professional communication with parents and academy management.
• Represent the academy professionally at schools, societies, clubs and tournaments.

Job Timings

Part-Time: 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Full-Time – Shift Options:

• Morning: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Afternoon: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Salary

Salary will be discussed based on the candidate’s experience, chess playing/coaching level, qualifications and availability.
