Job summary

iSource ITES is looking for Billing Analysts to join our US Healthcare RCM team. This role is suitable for complete freshers who are interested in starting their career in the US Healthcare and Medical Billing domain.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting healthcare billing activities, reviewing patient and insurance information, processing claims, and ensuring billing accuracy as per client and process requirements.

Qualifications

• Any graduate can apply; freshers welcome.
• Good English communication, written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office/Excel knowledge.
• Willingness to work in US shifts and from Velachery office.
• Basic understanding of healthcare terminology is a plus but not mandatory for freshers.

Responsibilities

• Process and review US healthcare claims and billing information.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance, and billing details.
• Review claims for accuracy before submission; correct errors.
• Assist with claim submission and follow-up activities.
• Handle denied, rejected, or pending claims per guidelines.
• Perform basic payment posting and account reconciliation where applicable.
• Review EOB and insurance payment information.
• Maintain accurate billing records and update system data.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing issues.
• Respond to healthcare billing queries via email or other channels.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and client procedures; meet targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify billing errors, missing information, and claim discrepancies.
• Assist with claim submission and follow-up activities.
• Work on denied, rejected, or pending claims as per process guidelines.

• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and insurance payment information.
• Maintain accurate records and update billing information in the system.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing and claim-related issues.
• Handle healthcare billing-related queries through email or other approved channels.
• Follow client-specific procedures, HIPAA guidelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and quality targets.
