Dr.Kamakshi Memorial Hospital in Chennai seeks an audiologist to perform hearing tests (PTA, impedance), manage hearing aids (selection, impressions, fitting, programming, trials), and provide rehabilitation and counseling to patients and families. You will document in EHR and collaborate with ENT specialists and speech-language pathologists.

The role requires BASLP or MASLP with 0–5 years of relevant experience and a fixed shift at the Siruseri, OMR, Chennai location.

Formación

• PTA and impedance audiometry procedures.
• Hearing aid selection, ear mold impressions, fitting, programming, and trials.
• Aural rehabilitation, speech therapy support, and counseling.
• Maintain accurate patient electronic health records (EHR) and clinical notes.
• Collaborate with ENT specialists and speech-language pathologists.

Responsabilidades

Role & responsibilities

• Diagnostics: Perform hearing and auditory tests such as Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA) and Impedance audiometry test .
• Hearing Aid Management: Handle hearing aid selection, custom ear mold impressions, fitting, programming, and trial sessions.
• Rehabilitation: Provide aural rehabilitation, speech therapy support, and counseling for patients and their families.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient electronic health records (EHR) and clinical notes.
• Collaboration: Work alongside ENT specialists, speech-language pathologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
