Job summary

JAIN HOUSING & CONSTRUCTION is seeking a diligent accounting professional in Chennai (T. Nagar) to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, GST/TDS filings, and financial reporting. You will handle journal entries, ledgers, invoicing, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate cash flow and compliance with policies.

The role requires 0–5 years in accounting, familiarity with Tally/ERP, and willingness to work from the Chennai office. Real estate experience is a plus and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
• GST and TDS filings knowledge.
• Experience with accounting software like Tally/ERP.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities such as journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bookkeeping.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure smooth cash flow management.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST/TDS filings, and company financial policies.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, clients, and internal departments for financial documentation and clarifications.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking activities.
