Job summary

VRINDA INTERNATIONAL in Chennai is seeking a Vulnerability Management Engineer with strong expertise in Application Security and vulnerability remediation. You will design, implement and tune security controls, and contribute to DevSecOps practices and secure coding standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with scanning tools such as Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7 or Snyk, plus scripting in Python or Ansible, and integration of security tools into CI/CD pipelines to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in vulnerability management and application security.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Ansible.
• Familiar with industry tools like Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7, Tenable, and Snyk.
• Solid knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CVEs, SAST, DAST and SCA.
• Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to remediate vulnerabilities, review code, and automate security tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure.
• Automate security testing and remediation workflows.
• Integrate tooling with CI/CD pipelines to enforce secure coding.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce risk and improve security posture.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on vulnerability trends and metrics.
