Job description

• TypeScript -Standard for all React Native work. Missing from the original list — should be mandatory
• React Native- Core components, Flexbox layout, platform-specific code, FlatList optimisation, gesture and animation handling (Reanimated / Gesture Handler), styling across screen sizes
• React fundamentals-Hooks and component patterns — same depth as the web role
• Navigation-React Navigation — stack, tab and drawer navigators, params, deep linking
• State management-Redux Toolkit / Zustand / Context, plus React Query for server state
• iOS publishing- Apple Developer account handling, certificates, provisioning profiles, bundle identifiers, Xcode build and archive, App Store Connect, TestFlight distribution, App Store review guidelines, privacy nutrition labels, App Tracking Transparency
• Android publishing- Keystore generation and safe storage, signed AAB builds, Google Play Console, internal / closed / open testing tracks, staged rollout, target-SDK compliance, Data Safety form, Play policy compliance
• Release management- Versioning and build numbers, release notes, rollback plan, handling a store rejection and resubmitting
• Expo vs bare-Knows the trade-offs, can work in both, can eject or migrate when a native module demands it
• Native basics- Enough Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java to read a native module, link a library, and fix a Gradle or Cocoa Pods build failure
• Device permissions-Camera, location, storage, contacts, notifications — request flows and store-required justifications on both platforms
• Push notifications - Firebase Cloud Messaging and APNs, token handling, foreground/background/killed-state behaviour, deep-link on tap
• Local storage &offline-Async Storage, MMKV, SQLite or WatermelonDB; offline-first behaviour and sync-on-reconnect
• API integration -REST consumption, auth token refresh, retry and timeout handling, poor-network resilience
• Debugging & profiling -Hermes, React DevTools, Flipper, Xcode Instruments, Android Studio Profiler, physical-device testing
