Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire Quality department across all units.
• Lead audits (IATF 16949, ISO 14001) and drive CAPA.
• Improve COQ and reduce defects; target 100 PPM.
• Ensure vendor qualification and incoming material quality.
• Drive continuous improvement and QPR metrics.
• Maintain IDMS and MR functions.

Job Description

• Overall supervision of all the units Quality department function.
• Build and execute the plant utility roadmap, aligning targets with overall organizational goals.
• Deep knowledge of quality core tools (like PPAP, FMEA, Kaizen, etc), strong analytical skills and cross functional leadership.
• Monitor and upgrade vendor quality performance alongside incoming material compliance.
• Participate, manage IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and other customer specific audits. Also action plan and corrective action to be taken for NCs (if any).
• Minimize internal scrap, excess warrant claims, zero lot rejection, zero-line stoppages.
• Responsible for achieving 100 PPM.
• Ensure reduction in Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) both at internal and external levels.
• Conduct continuous audit on Products, Process, Gauge, Fixtures and dock audit.
• Responsible for achieving maximum QPR.
• To keep abreast with new technologies thereby improving and achieving quality standards.
• Fixing POKA YOKE and taking CAPA for zero free defects.
• Maintaining IDMS.
• Responding to Quality Deviation Highlight (QDH) raised by the customers.
• Reducing Quality Job Order (QJO).
• Responsible for Quality Performance Rating (QPR) of the unit.
• Responsible for MR function.
