  • Liaise with the accounting team to monitor outstanding receivables and support timely collections to improve cash flow.
  • Handle, contest, defend, and negotiate commercial claims in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor voyage profitability and develop a thorough understanding of voyage Profit & Loss (P&L), including cost control and revenue optimization.
  • Optimize vessel cargo intake while ensuring compliance with vessel limitations, port restrictions, and operational requirements.
  • Plan bunker requirements to ensure adequate fuel availability throughout the voyage, considering consumption, fuel grades, trading areas, and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with weather-routing service providers to support optimal route selection, fuel efficiency, and vessel performance.
  • Monitor voyage progress and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce avoidable costs.
Commercial Coordination & Stakeholder Management
  • Negotiate and appoint port agents, ensuring reliable service delivery and cost-effective port operations.
  • Plan bunker stems in accordance with vessel requirements, fuel specifications, and trading-area restrictions.
  • Coordinate freight invoicing, other charterer-related billings, and post-fixture activities with the relevant teams.
  • Provide accurate and timely voyage information to Claims Coordinators to support the resolution of commercial disputes.
  • Review and approve Port Disbursement Accounts (PDAs), ensuring accuracy and appropriate cost control.
  • Work closely with Finance, Chartering, Operations, and Post-Fixture teams to maintain seamless information flow across the voyage lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate voyage records, operational data, and documentation within company systems, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
