Job summary

Emitrr is seeking a skilled VoIP Engineer to design, implement and maintain VoIP systems for our SaaS platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, reliable VoIP solutions for our customers.

Role requires proven VoIP experience, strong networking knowledge, and familiarity with Kamailio/OpenSIPS/FreeSWITCH/Asterisk. You will work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment in India.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining VoIP systems.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networks, firewalls and SIP/RTP/SRTP, TLS, ICE, STUN, TURN, WebRTC.
• Experience with VoIP applications such as Kamailio, OpenSIPS, FreeSWITCH, RTPEngine and Asterisk.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, sngrep and Homer.
• Networking concepts like NAT, QoS, VPN, and firewall rules.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork.
• Knowledge of security best practices in VoIP systems.
• Scripting in Python or Bash is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest VoIP technologies and industry trends, and apply them to enhance our offerings.
• Document VoIP system configurations, processes, and procedures for internal reference and knowledge sharing.
