Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking skilled Voice Actors/Coaches for remote contract work to deliver precise written assessments of short speech recordings using professional terminology.

You will identify vocal traits, evaluate emotional tone and articulation, assess recording quality, and deliver structured reports to support AI model training.

This role offers flexible hours (10–40 per week) and pay between $30 and $70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Background in voice acting, coaching, dialect coaching, or related field.
• Strong understanding of speech analysis, prosody, intonation, and phonetics.
• Experience with audio or sound engineering, evaluating recording quality and environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail.
• Fluency in English (B2+).

Requirements

• Professional background in voice acting, voice coaching, dialect coaching, vocal pedagogy, or similar fields.
• Strong understanding of speech analysis, prosody, intonation, phonetics, accent and dialect variation, and vocal quality assessment.
• Experience with audio or sound engineering, especially in evaluating recording quality and acoustic environments.
• Familiarity with technical vocal concepts such as resonance, placement, and breath control.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluency in English (B2 or higher); native proficiency in any language is welcome.
