Job description

The Infrastructure Operations Authority provides expert knowledge on the operation and management of central and/or local data centres, legacy and/or centralized infrastructure, standards and requirements to support the availability of Vodafone IT applications and Data Centre activities and database environments.

The Infrastructure Operations Authority focusses on activities that ensure the availability and effective functioning of internal network infrastructure, data availability and technical support for customers (internal and external). Including monitoring of hardware and software in datacentres, and executing event/incident, configuration, escalation, release, deployment and 3rd party database management activities. Typically reports to the Senior Infrastructure Manager.

Job Responsibility

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• 10-12 Years of Solution Designing experience, managing large scale projects for platform orchestration, development & technical solutions delivery
• 5-7 years of multi cloud experience in especially in AWS, GCP with good knowledge of devops tools, strong exposure in integration and infrastructure (protocols, networks, data-centre )
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Infrastructure As A Code Solution – good exposure of Terraform, AWS cloud formation,Google Cloud Deployment Manager & CI CD pipelines
• Familiarity with tools used in delivery (ServiceNow, Remedy ITSM, Jira, Confluence, Teamwire etc)
• High skill of service implementation and troubleshooting of integration services within the Public Cloud domain
• Knowledge to support and review PEN tests with the different security departments (Cyber and Global)
