Job Purpose

The Business Analyst (Legal, IT & Network) is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and driving the business needs primarily by Legal, Network & IT functions and identifying how best to meet those needs. This includes defining scope, objectives, and converting business requirements into detailed technically feasible system requirements and documenting them for development. The BA acts as an integration point between business and the IT groups and is accountable for feasibility and impact assessment across the functional & technology landscape to support the technical solution. This role involves supervising a team of BAs across partners by adhering to KPA & TAT.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

1. Requirement Analysis & Capture:
   Engage directly with business stakeholders to identify pain points, advise on process/business rules optimization, and produce demand/project deliverables. Identify the right methodology for project execution and execute projects across multiple methodologies, i.e., Agile, One-Box, or Waterfall. Work with business to identify, document, and translate functional, non-functional, technical, integration & security requirements into requirement specifications. Support & provide inputs to the business team for conceptualizing and stitching requirements across functions. Decompose business requirements into use cases & functional requirements, ensuring the capture of non-functional requirements covering growth volumetric for building a right-sized solution. Facilitate workshops to understand outcomes, detailed requirements, and decide high-level solution approaches. Ensure implementing Minimal Viable Product (MVP) with all stakeholders for all demands with large and complex requirements. Lead and ensure requirements deliverables review and sign-off process with business stakeholders.
2. Feasibility and Impact Analysis:
   Engage & participate with Cross Functional Teams to identify impacts across the partner & technology landscape out of business requirements. Conduct detailed feasibility of business needs with systems, cross partners’ teams & application SMEs. Analyze the requirements thoroughly to set precedence in coordination with Business teams and document them properly. In case of non-feasible requirements, work with Business, E2E Solution Design & application SMEs to identify alternate best-fit solutions.
3. Transition of Signed-off Requirements to E2E Solution Design Teams:
   Ensure onboarding and involvement of solution teams & application SMEs based on methodology and conduct functional requirement walkthroughs if required. Work with Engagement Managers & E2E Solution Design to propose proactive solutions to Business teams. Maintain the traceability of all business requirements to functional requirements. Ensure signed-off requirements are transitioned to E2E Solution Design & Application teams for identifying and implementing best-fit solutions.
4. Managing Partner Teams:
   Analyze the impact of business requirements & ensure onboarding the right set of partner teams to capture holistic requirements, conclude E2E impact & propose high-level solution approaches with feasibility confirmation. Ensure partner teams follow the process of the methodology type & provide deliverables within agreed TAT for requirement impact & feasibility closure. Conduct rigorous tracking & reporting of agreed KPIs by vendor BA teams. Review the FRS to ensure all feasible and non-feasible requirements are captured in approved templates for the supporting methodology & check E2E traceability of all business requirements.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

Over 11+ years of total IT experience, primarily in the Telecom Domain (Enterprise & Mobile). Dynamic and determined professional with comprehensive multi-functional experience in overall Process Management, backend Operations, and good knowledge across BSS-OSS and Enterprise landscape. Prior experience in Requirements Gathering, Feasibility Analysis & Functional/Application Design in the Telecom domain using various methodologies, especially in the area of Network & Enterprise. Experience working with IT setup in Telecom in transformation programs & support projects in multi-vendor scenarios, along with managing teams. Prior experience working with operational/central teams providing backend support to different users and departments, with the ability to handle and resolve complex, ambiguous situations and identify the right approach for resolution. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle a constantly evolving environment.
