Job summary

Fourth Dimension Technologies in Hyderabad (Madhapur) is seeking an experienced VMware Administrator to manage vCenter/ESXi, VM creation, and performance monitoring. You will handle migrations, vSphere features, and backup tools while supporting 24/7 shift operations in a six-day work week.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with ESXi updates, vCenter, vSphere Replication, SRM, and vROps, plus Windows/Linux server administration. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware vCenter/ESXi and VM creation.
• Knowledge of vSphere features (HA, FT, DRS, vMotion).
• Hands-on VM migration (P2V and V2V).
• Windows/Linux server OS, hardware, storage and networking experience.
• Experience with ESXi version updates, vCenter, vSphere Replication, SRM and vROps.
• Basic backup tools knowledge and vCenter alert management.
• Willing to work 24/7 shifts and 6 working days per week.
• Notice period: Immediate or up to 15 days.

Responsibilities

• Handle VMware vCenter, ESXi, VM creation, snapshots, and performance monitoring.
• Apply basic knowledge of HA, FT, DRS and vMotion.
• Perform VM migration (P2V and V2V).
• Manage Windows/Linux servers, server hardware, storage and networking.
• Handle ESXi version updates, vCenter, vSphere Replication, SRM, and vROps.
• Use backup tools and manage vCenter alerts.
• Be available for 24/7 shifts and a 6-day work week.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

Experience in Handling VMware vCenter, ESXi, VM Creation, Snapshots, Clone and Performance Monitoring.

Basic knowledge on VM Advanced features like VMware HA, FT, DRS and vMotion

Hands on experience in VM Migration (Physical to Virtual & Virtual to Virtual)

Hands on exp in Handling Server OS(Windows/Linux), Server Hardware, Server Storage and Networking.

Hands on exp ESXI Version Update, VCenter, VSphere Replication, SRM(Site Recovery Manager), Vrops.

Basic level knowledge in Backup tools.

Knowledge on vCenter Alert Management

Candidate should be willing to work on 24/7 shifts and 6 working days in a week.
