Responsibilities

• Create and modify CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centers using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Solid cam) & manual G-code programming.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Set up and operate VMC machines to perform milling, drilling, tapping, and other machining operations.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient machining.
• Conduct first‑piece inspection and ensure all machined parts meet quality and dimensional standards.
• Troubleshoot programming or machining issues and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize machining processes to reduce cycle time and increase tool life.
• Maintain detailed records of programs, setups, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in CNC/VMC programming and machining.
• Proficient in G‑code, M‑code, and CAM software (Mastercam, Solid Cam).
• Strong understanding of 3‑axis and 4‑axis VMC operations.
• Advanced knowledge of machining various materials (steel, aluminium, SS, etc.).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with CNC machine controllers like Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
