Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited, a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, is recruiting for a senior CAN/AUTOSAR software engineer in India. You will develop and integrate CAN-based BSW modules for brake systems and work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust data exchange among ECUs.

The role requires 6+ years of automotive software experience, hands-on debugging with CANalyzer/CANoe, and adherence to ISO 26262 safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in automotive software development and CAN/BOSW integration.
• Experience with AUTOSAR-based CAN drivers and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Basic Software (BSW) modules for CAN communication in automotive brake systems.
• Configure and implement CAN drivers, communication stacks, and related BSW components according to AUTOSAR standards.
• Collaborate with system, hardware, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of brake control software.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CAN network issues, ensuring reliable data exchange between ECUs.
• Responsible for testing, validation, and debugging of CAN communication for brake systems.
• Document software design, Architecture and Test design and execution.
• Ensure compliance with automotive safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with debugging tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe) and software development environments.
