Job description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to perform the development of a VLSI system by defining the various functionalities, architecture, layout, and implementation for a client.

Responsibilities

• Conduct verification of the module / IP functionality and provide customer support:
  1. Understand the architecture and create a verification environment and development plan as per Universal Verification Methodology.
  2. Create test bench development and test case coding for one or multiple modules.
  3. Write or review the necessary codes.
  4. Execute test cases and debug them if required.
  5. Conduct functional coverage analysis and document failures and debugging procedures on SharePoint / JIRA or any other platform as directed.
  6. Test the entire IP functionality under regression testing and complete the documentation to publish to client.
  7. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems on time with minimum latency and maximum efficiency.
  8. Write scripts for the IP.
  9. Comply with project plans and industry standards.
• Ensure reporting & documentation for the client:
  1. Ensure weekly and monthly status reports for the clients as per requirements.
  2. Maintain documents and create a repository of all design changes, recommendations, etc.
  3. Maintain time‑sheets for the clients.
  4. Provide written knowledge transfer/history of the project.

Deliverables

• Verification Timeliness, Quality of Code/Number of defects, Customer responsiveness, Project documentation (scripts, test cases, etc.).
• Self‑development skill test for next level clearance on Trend Nxt.
