ownpath Studios is looking for a Visual Designer – Merchandise to help create distinctive merchandise, apparel, and branded products for leading brands across automotive, mobility, sports, and lifestyle sectors.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys bringing brands to life beyond digital experiences. You'll work on everything from apparel graphics and teamwear to event merchandise, collectibles, accessories, and branded kits. We're looking for someone with a strong visual design foundation who also understands materials, fabrication methods, production processes, and how great merchandise is brought to life.

What we're looking for

• 3 to 6 years of experience in visual design, brand design, merchandise design, apparel graphics, or related fields
• Strong portfolio showcasing merchandise, apparel, sports, lifestyle, automotive, or brand-related work
• Exceptional eye for typography, colour, composition, layout, and visual storytelling
• Strong understanding of print techniques, including screen printing, sublimation, embroidery, heat transfer, appliqué, and other production methods
• Familiarity with fabrics, materials, trims, fabrication processes, and how graphic designs translate onto physical products
• Ability to translate brand identities into cohesive merchandise collections and physical experiences
• Experience preparing production-ready artwork, specifications, and files for vendors and manufacturing partners
• Ability to create commercially viable merchandise concepts while maintaining strong brand alignment
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to clearly present creative ideas and collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality throughout the design and production process
• Interest in sports, motorsports, automotive, mobility, or lifestyle brands is a strong advantage

What you'll do

• Design merchandise collections across apparel, accessories, event kits, collectibles, packaging, and branded products
• Create apparel graphics, jersey concepts, teamwear, and merchandise systems that align with brand guidelines
• Collaborate with brand designers, strategists, and clients to develop merchandise concepts and product ranges
• Explore materials, fabrication methods, and production techniques to elevate merchandise quality and user experience
• Prepare production-ready files, specifications, and artwork for vendors and manufacturing partners
• Work closely with production teams to ensure quality and consistency from concept through execution
• Ensure consistency across merchandise collections while maintaining high standards of design and craftsmanship
• Stay updated on trends across sportswear, automotive merchandise, lifestyle products, and brand experiences
