General Description:

• Knowledge and experience in system design, hardware design, software engineering and/or requirements engineering in Automotive Electronics
• 12+ years of experience in Automotive software or system engineering domain
• Works to develop, select, validate, and document solution concept(s)
• Strong collaboration with Software, Hardware and Mechanical architecture domains
• Leads the Hardware and Software Interface definition
• Creates system requirements and models a system architecture based on customer requirements analysis
• Contributes to a platform architecture with the scope to increase reusability among projects
• Affinity with communication buses like SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, MOST and Automotive Video interfaces is a plus
• Performs requirements analysis and capture in compliance with applicable automotive standards
• Maintains and improves processes and best practices related to system requirements engineering and system architecture design
• Develops Systems Engineering in compliance with ASPICE standards
• Reviews TGR and TGW from similar projects and applies as appropriate during planning phase
• Supports system engineering during feature level FMEA to develop fail safe requirements
• Collects and analyzes quality metrics and takes appropriate actions in terms of checklist, training, mentoring, etc.
• Ensures use of requirements tools and shares learning with the team
• Peer reviews all system engineering work products
• Contributes to technical forums
