Job summary

Narayana Health in Mumbai is seeking a medical professional to provide comprehensive critical care and obstetric services. The role involves clinical assessment, developing and updating care plans, documenting progress, and coordinating referrals and investigations.

The incumbent will perform both non-invasive and invasive procedures, including CICU support, obstetric deliveries, and perioperative care, in a high-acuity setting. Excellent clinical judgment and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document history & physical examination
• Develops and documents initial plan of care
• Modifies daily plan of care
• Writes daily progress notes
• Obtain and document informed consent
• Order appropriate referrals
• Order appropriate investigations
• Interpret hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients
• Interpret laboratory & radiology results
• Orders transfusions of blood and blood products
• Order appropriate medication and other orders
• ICU care as per needful
• Performs appropriate antenatal pre -natal & postnatal care & assessment
• Clinical Non-invasive Management:
• Perform pelvic examination and Pap smear
• Perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
• Orders, adjusts artificial feeding modalities
• Clinical Invasive Management:
• Inserts urethral catheter
• Assist in surgical procedures
• Conduct vaginal deliveries with episiotomies
