Job summary

Vocal Tech Solutions in Hubli, Karnataka is seeking a creative Videographer/Video Content Creator to shoot, edit and produce engaging videos for brands across social media.

You will manage shoots, handle cameras and lighting, and craft reels and short videos for Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other platforms, ensuring brand style and storytelling.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a creative and energetic Videographer / Video Content Creator who can shoot, edit and create engaging video content for brands across social media and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a good eye for visuals, framing, lighting, movement and storytelling, along with the ability to understand what makes content engaging on Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute video shoots for clients and internal projects.
• Handle camera, lighting, audio and other shooting equipment.
• Shoot Reels, short-form videos, product videos, promotional videos and brand content.
• Capture different types of content including products, people, businesses, events and locations.
• Work with the creative and marketing team to understand content requirements.
• Edit videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms.
• Add music, transitions, text, subtitles, effects and other relevant elements.
• Maintain consistent visual quality and brand style across projects.
• Participate in client-location shoots when required.
• Manage and organize raw footage and project files properly.
• Stay updated with current video trends, formats and social-media content styles.
• Contribute creative ideas for new video concepts and content formats.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of videography and camera handling.
• Understanding of framing, composition, lighting and basic cinematography.
• Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar.
• Basic knowledge of colour correction and audio editing.
• Ability to shoot vertical videos suitable for Reels and Shorts.
• Good understanding of social-media video formats.
• Creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Willingness to travel for client shoots when required.

Preferred

• Experience with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras.
• Knowledge of gimbals, wireless microphones and lighting equipment.
• Basic motion graphics knowledge.
• Experience creating content for brands, businesses or social media.
• Portfolio of previous video work.n
• Knowledge of photography will be an added advantage.
