Job summary

Elevate Media in Mumbai (Ghatkopar East) is seeking a creative Videographer & Video Editor to manage end-to-end video production for social media content, reels, brand videos, product shoots and campaigns. You will shoot, edit and deliver engaging visuals and collaborate with the creative and social teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years’ experience, strong knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve, and a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and trends.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of videography and video editing experience.
• Degree/diploma in Film, Mass Media, Visual Communication or related field preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit high-quality videos for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube).
• Handle reels, product videos, brand films, event coverage and social media content.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting and audio equipment.
• Edit videos with storytelling, pacing, transitions, music and captions.
• Coordinate with creative/social media teams during shoots.

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and energetic Videographer & Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to handle the complete video production process from shooting and ideation to editing and delivering engaging social media content.

You will work closely with our creative and social media teams to create high-quality Reels, brand videos, product shoots, campaign content and other digital content for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit high-quality videos for Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms.
• Handle Reels, product videos, brand films, event coverage and social media content.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting and audio equipment.
• Edit videos with strong storytelling, pacing, transitions, music, sound design and captions.
• Create content according to different brand identities and creative requirements.
• Coordinate with the creative/social media team during shoots.
• Manage basic colour correction, sound correction and video formatting.
• Stay updated with current Instagram/Reels trends, editing styles and content formats.
• Manage multiple shoots and editing projects while meeting deadlines.
• Travel for client shots when required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software.
• Good understanding of cinematography, framing, lighting and composition.
• Experience shooting with DSLR/Mirrorless/ DJI cameras.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content.
• Good sense of music, transitions, storytelling and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to independently handle a shoot from setup to final edit.
• Creative mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualification & Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in videography and video editing.
• Degree/diploma in Film, Mass Media, Visual Communication, Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
