About the Role

We are looking to hire a Script Writer with 2–3 years of core scriptwriting experience who can create highly engaging, hook-driven scripts tailored specifically for YouTube as a platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Write creative, compelling, and audience-first scripts for YouTube videos and Shorts
• Craft strong hooks within the first 3–5 seconds to maximize retention
• Adapt scripts based on different formats (Shorts, long‑form, explainers, storytelling)
• Understand YouTube best practices, including pacing, structure, and viewer psychology
• Collaborate with editors and video teams to refine scripts based on performance feedback
• Research topics thoroughly and translate complex ideas into engaging narratives

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in scriptwriting (YouTube / digital video preferred)
• Strong understanding of YouTube content formats, trends, and audience behaviour
• Impeccable language skills with excellent command over written English
• Proven ability to write creative, hook‑based, high‑retention scripts
• Strong research skills and attention to narrative flow and clarity

Added Advantage

• Prior experience writing Christianity‑based, faith, or Bible‑related content
