Job summary

Maven Labs is seeking a Video Editor (Tamil) in Bengaluru to join our content, creative, and marketing teams. You will craft high-quality, engaging video content for social media, ads, and brand campaigns.

You should think beyond cuts—storytelling, pacing, hooks, retention, emotion—and turn briefs into visuals. Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of video editing and visual storytelling.
• Good sense of pacing, composition, music and sound design.
• Ability to create engaging first 2–3 second hooks
• Understanding of social media trends and short-form content
• Experience with tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Willingness to experiment with different editing styles and creative formats
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver quickly without compromising quality
• A strong portfolio/showreel is highly preferred

• Video content for our apps and digital products
• Creating multiple variations of creatives to test different hooks, concepts and formats

• Understanding briefs and converting ideas/scripts into engaging visual content
• Repurposing existing footage into multiple high-performing creatives
• Working closely with the marketing and creative teams to continuously improve content
