Responsibilities

• Consulting with the team throughout the project to determine vision & needs.
• Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list. Create rough and final cuts.
• Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
• Profound experience in cutting both long-form and short-form videos.
• Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
• Ensuring deadlines are met and project standards are maintained.
• Implement creative direction to enhance visual storytelling, pacing, and overall aesthetic.
• Maintain brand consistency across video projects, applying company standards and style guides.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Handles and organizes raw data and edited video files. Develop and maintain schedules, workflows, and quality control processes.
• Communicate with marketing teams, and other departments to align video content with organizational goals.
• Review and approve final video edits before distribution.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to editing software and media management.
• Ensure video content meets technical standards for various platforms, including social media and broadcast.
• Continuously discover and stay current on industry trends, software updates, and emerging editing techniques.
• Introduce new ideas and techniques to improve content quality and engagement.

Desired Skill Set :

• Strong knowledge and experience with various video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro X & Davinci Resolve.
• Experience in motion graphics, color grading, and sound design.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.
• Familiarity with designing software, including Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.
• Knowledge of video production from pre-production to post-production.
• Strong design sense with an eye for selecting fonts, colors, and alignments that align with brand identity and video storytelling objectives.
• Creative mind and artistic skills.
• Ability to work to a tight schedule.
