TutorsTap is seeking a creative Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging videos for social media, ads, and branding. You will handle raw footage, audio, graphics, transitions, effects, and animations to deliver polished final videos.

We value strong storytelling, pacing, and a keen eye for design. Collaboration with creative teams and a portfolio showcasing relevant work is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, transitions, and music synchronisation.
• A strong portfolio/showreel is required.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, advertisements, branding, and digital platforms.
• Create engaging Reels, YouTube videos, promotional videos, corporate videos, and video ads.
• Work with raw footage, audio, graphics, transitions, effects, and animations to create polished final videos.
• Add motion graphics, text animations, visual effects, sound effects, subtitles, and colour corrections.
• Understand briefs and convert creative concepts into compelling video content.
• Select appropriate music, footage, transitions, and visual elements according to the brand and content requirements.
• Maintain consistency in visual style, branding, quality, and storytelling.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, social media teams, and creative teams.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, AI tools, visual effects, and social media formats.
