Job summary

Curious Media is seeking a Video Editor Intern to join our Content Syndication team and craft high-volume, engaging short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. You'll shape hooks, pacing, captions, transitions, and sound effects while aligning with current trends and collaborating with the content squad to meet daily publishing timelines.

Experience with Premiere Pro is preferred, and a keen eye for storytelling across Gen-X to Gen-Z audiences.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing for short-form content.
• Experience with Reels/Shorts/Facebook content beneficial.
• Ability to handle high-volume content and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit Reels, Shorts, and social media videos at scale.
• Create hooks, cuts, captions, transitions, and sound effects.
• Follow trends and experiment with viral editing styles.
• Work closely with the content and syndication team.
• Deliver videos within daily publishing timelines.
• Use performance data such as views and engagement to improve editing.
• Maintain organized project files and content libraries.
