We are looking for a Video Editor to own video output for the Marketing & Strategy team across a portfolio of consumer and corporate brands. The role spans short-form social content and corporate or investor-facing film, and includes on-ground shoot responsibility. This is a single-owner role: you will work directly with the department head alongside the design, content and digital functions, and will be accountable for everything from brief to final export.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit reels and short-form content across multiple brands in line with the content calendar — product demos, retail content, customer and talent features, offer films
- Deliver corporate and investor-facing video: annual report AVs, leadership and board segments, documentary cuts and event films
- Handle subtitling, colour grading, sound balancing and platform-correct aspect-ratio exports for every outgoing video
- Shoot and cover events, retail activations and live sessions on the ground; own equipment readiness and maintain the gear log
- Produce variant cuts of campaign hero films for A/B testing where required
- Work from written creative briefs, raising gaps or clarifications before a shoot or edit begins rather than after
- Maintain an organised project and footage archive so past assets can be located and reused
- Log and update every assigned task on the internal project management system daily, without requiring follow-up
- Coordinate with the design, content and digital functions so video is delivered ahead of campaign go-live dates.
AI-Led Ways of Working
- Use AI editing tools for auto-transcription, subtitling, silence and filler removal, and first-pass rough cuts
- Apply AI for audio clean-up, noise removal and voice enhancement on shoot and event footage
- Use generative AI for B-roll, background extension, object removal and motion or title elements where a shoot is not viable
- Explore AI-assisted reframing and repurposing so one shoot yields multiple platform-correct cuts
- Maintain reusable prompt libraries and workflows so AI gains are repeatable across brands rather than one-off
- Apply judgement on where AI is appropriate — all AI-assisted output must be reviewed, brand-compliant and free of artefacts before it ships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film & Video Production, Mass Media or an equivalent discipline
- 2-4 years of editing experience across both social short-form and corporate long-form work
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve or an equivalent grading suite
- Demonstrated working use of AI video, audio or editing tools in a live production setting
- Showreel demonstrating range across short-form, product film and corporate or event coverage
- Camera handling and independent on-ground shoot capability
- Willingness to travel to retail locations and event venues as required
Good to Have: (Preferred)
- After Effects and motion graphics capability
- Audio mixing and sound design fundamentalsMulti-camera event and live-session experience
- Basic still photography for retail and event coverage
