Job summary

Win It Social seeks an experienced video editor to own the edit lifecycle from brief to final export. You will deliver punchy, engaging narratives while maintaining high QC standards and meeting tight deadlines.

Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a focus on audio cleanup, color grading, and multi-format outputs for reels, shorts, and YouTube edits.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: manage edit process from brief to final export, meet deadlines without firefighting.

At Win It Social, we help brands across various sectors make an impactful digital footprint.

We handle everything from "script-to-screen." We are looking for an editor who doesn't just

"cut clips" but takes absolute ownership of the edit life cycle, allowing our Creative Head

to focus on strategy rather than QC.

2. Core Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Manage the edit process from initial brief in Notion to final export. You are responsible for meeting deadlines without "firefighting."
• Zero-Defect Output: Conduct your own Quality Control (QC) — jump cuts, audio sync, sound levels, colour consistency, and typos in on-screen text. The goal is for your manager to provide high-level creative direction, not to fix cuts or captions.
• Technical Hygiene: Build project files in Premiere Pro and After Effects that are organized, correctly labelled (bins, sequences, markers), and easily handed off to or picked up by other team members.
• Client-First Editing: Translate raw footage and client requirements into "Punchy" and "Engaging" video narratives that hold attention in the first 3 seconds.

3. Technical Requirements

• Adobe Suite Master: Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics, titles, and basic VFX.
• Sound & Colour: Comfortable with basic audio cleanup/mixing and colour correction/grading for consistency across platforms.
• Format Fluency: Ability to cut and reformat the same story across multiple aspect ratios and durations (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, ad cutdowns) for rapid deployment.
• AI-Augmented Workflow: Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., transcription/captioning tools, generative B-roll, ChatGPT for scripting/brainstorming) to accelerate output without sacrificing quality.
• Asset Management: Strict adherence to folder structures, naming conventions, and footage/project archiving within our file management system.
