Job summary

SimplePlan Media is seeking a Video Editor to join our creative team in Delhi. You’ll turn raw footage into engaging narratives, build pacing with cuts, transitions, sound, and motion, and collaborate with the team to bring concepts to life for social, brand, and product videos.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of editing experience, a strong portfolio, and solid skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. A keen eye for storytelling and detail is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take raw footage and turn it into visually engaging, well-paced content.
• Work with cuts, transitions, sound effects, music, motion and animation to build the final narrative.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas and bring concepts to life.
• Work across different types of content — from social media and campaigns to brand and product-led videos.
• Review, tweak and polish your work until the final cut is just right.
• Get involved in shoots and understand how footage can be captured with the edit in mind.

Job description

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling through video, have a strong eye for visual details, and bring a creative perspective to execution.

What we’re looking for:

• An editing enthusiast with 1–2 years of experience and a killer portfolio to prove it.
• Someone comfortable with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or similar editing software.
• Someone who deeply “gets” storytelling and knows how to turn raw footage into a seamless, engaging narrative.
• A good understanding of motion, animation and transitions — bonus points if you enjoy bringing static visuals to life.
• Comfortable working with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop & Illustrator.
• A good understanding of visual communication, composition, typography, colour and design principles.
• Someone who is curious, detail-oriented and excited to experiment with different formats and styles.
