Job summary

JobTrade is seeking a Video Content Editor to craft engaging short-form videos for social platforms and client projects.

You will edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and educational content, manage multiple videos, meet deadlines, and apply storytelling, pacing, and hooks to boost retention.

Collaborate with the content team to develop high-quality brand videos and ensure consistency across client accounts.

Content Quality

• Maintain consistent editing quality across multiple client accounts.
• Understand the difference between basic editing and retention-focused social media editing.
• Apply appropriate storytelling, pacing, and visual techniques based on the content.
• Handle revisions professionally and incorporate feedback effectively.

Project Management

• Manage multiple videos and projects simultaneously.
• Deliver completed videos within assigned deadlines.
• Organize project files, raw footage, working files, and final exports properly.
• Maintain consistent daily availability during working hours.

Required Skills

• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong command of DaVinci Resolve and/or After Effects.
• Ability to use professional video-editing tools efficiently.

Creative Skills

• Strong understanding of pacing and storytelling.
• Good knowledge of Instagram and YouTube content formats.
