Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a senior Manager of Data & Analytics to liaise with Compliance Test Managers, define analytical and automation solutions, and lead a talented team to deploy these solutions across the organization.

You will drive data strategies across lines of business, build analytical solution libraries, and collaborate with AI/ML governance to ensure compliant deployments. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Post graduate program with Data Analytics and Automation from a leading institute / University.
• Overall Experience: 12-15 years in Automation and Analytics
• Proven track record of managing large portfolios of projects; managing delivery with diverse automation solutions like Python / Alteryx / UiPath etc.
• Experience as a Business Analyst / Product manager will be a plus.
• Experience of working in an Audit / Testing / Compliance or risk management environment will be additionally preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong Executive presence, presentation skills and excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Program management and Delivery ownership: Drive the delivery of projects for the Control Testing center of Excellence (TCoE) within / across lines of business.
• Manage a team of skilled Analytics team and handle concurrent deliveries including data extractions, analytical solutions, dashboards/reports, and ML deployments.
• Build a library of Analytics linked to operational and compliance risk for reuse in testing cycles.
• Collaborate with AI/ML governance to train, test and deploy models ensuring governance of AI/ML in risk estimation.
• Drive delivery of business insights to strengthen controls and management of risks using descriptive and prescriptive analytics.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder engagement with Control Testing managers across the TCoE.
• Define, manage and expand the Toolkit by partnering with Technology to identify new tools (Alteryx, Tableau, COGNOS, Python, ThoughtSpot & UiPath).
• Timely and accurate reporting via scorecards, dashboards, and on-demand visualizations.
• Adherence to Firm-wide Controls framework for analytical solutions.
• Document requirements and SOPs for handover of automation to CCOR Testing team; update process control test papers.

Job Description:

As a manager of Data & Analytics, you will need to liaise with Compliance Test Managers to understand compliance activities and define Analytical & automation solutions to drive efficient Compliance Testing and define new compliance Testing models using analytics.

You will lead a team of highly talented and creative team, proficient with the use of tolls and technologies like Python, UiPath, Alteryx, ThoughtSpot & SQL, who will deploy these analytical and automation solutions.

As a manager of Analytical specialists, you will need to explore data strategies across LOBs and leverage them effectively and efficiently to build analytical and automation solutions.

Apart from defining and deploying analytical solutions who will also look to support the build out of analytical solution libraries to generate efficiency and fuel a citizen developer program.

Responsibilities Include:

• Program management and Delivery ownership: Drive the delivery of projects for theControl Testing center of Excellence (TCoE) within / across lines of business.
  • Manage a team of skilled Analytics team
  • Ability to manage concurrent deliveries, which could include data extractions, basic to advanced analytical solutions, dashboards / automated reports, and ML solution deployments.
  • Build a library of Analytics linked to the Operational and compliance Risk they seek to manage and make it available for re use with subsequent Control Testing cycles.
  • Work with the AI / ML governance team to train, test and deploy models, to ensure controls related to the use of AI / ML models for estimation are adhered to

• Drive the delivery of business insights to strengthen controls and management of risks: Leverage basic data exploration techniques (Descriptive and prescriptive/predictive analytics) to support current testing routines that seek to measure compliance to the various laws, regulations, and guidelines. Design, build, and execute data quality controls that ensure completeness and accuracy on risk datasets and reports.

• Build and maintain strong stakeholder engagement: Establish and maintain a consistent dialog and strong relationship with Control Testing managers & leaders across the TCoE, to enable better management & growth the Book of Work / engagements.

• Define, manage and expand the ‘Toolkit’: Partner with the Technology team to identify & champion new tools and technologies to deliver stronger analytical solutions that enhance the way operational and compliance risks are managed. Current tools include Alteryx, Tableau, COGNOS, Python, ThoughtSpot & UiPath

• Timely and accurate reporting: Provide timely and relevant information through appropriate reporting mechanisms (scorecards, dashboards, monthly management meetings). Design on demand data visualizations / presentations to communicate complexity, scale & impact of solutions/delivery.

• Adherence to Firm wide Controls framework associated with the creation of Analytical solutions: Understand the controls associated with the creation, deployment and re use of analytics, and ensure adherence consistently and in the most efficient manner.

• Document requirements associated with the analytical solutions built to enable Control Testing activities in the TCoE:
• Document Business Requirements and generate SOPs for handover of automation to the CCOR Testing team for use as BAU activity.
• Update Process control Test papers, that document the data extraction, Automation and Analytics approach to extract data / Automate Compliance Testing activities / Drive deeper insights into Compliance Testresults.
