Job summary

Resonia Limited (Erstwhile Sterlite Power and Transmission Limited) seeks a Vice President (Western Cluster Head) with 24-28 years of experience to lead a cluster of two to three transmission projects. You will drive outcomes for schedule, cost, quality and safety, and oversee Project Heads while guiding bidding for new opportunities.

You will engage with state utilities, regulators, and stakeholders to unlock permissions, while ensuring readiness and a smooth handover to operations for

Qualifications

  • 24-28 years of experience in power transmission/infra preferred.
  • Proven track record in delivering large scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring of project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Cluster delivery stewardship to meet milestones, quality and safety standards.
  • Lead bids for cluster opportunities with input from commercial, design and finance teams.
  • Manage stakeholder relations with state utilities, authorities and local leaders to unlock permissions.
  • Oversee mobilization, readiness, and handover to O&M to ensure smooth transition and tariff outcomes.
  • Enforce safety and quality standards and drive continuous improvement through audits.
  • Coach Project Heads and ensure proper reporting and cadence across the cluster.
  • Coordinate with EPCs, OEMs, and regulators to secure outages and approvals.

Resonia Limited (Erstwhile Sterlite Power and Transmission Limited) is hiring for Vice President (Western Cluster Head)

Experience- 24-28 years

Role Summary - Accountable for outcomes across a cluster of two to three transmission projects in a cluster (state or group of states). Provide leadership oversight so each project meets schedule cost quality and safety commitments and transitions cleanly to operations to protect portfolio IRR. Oversee Project Heads who own day to day planning and execution and who report to the Cluster Head Project Director. In parallel lead and support bidding for upcoming opportunities in the cluster by applying deep state level knowledge routes permissions and stakeholder context .

KRA-

A. Key Strategic Priorities

1. Cluster delivery stewardship: Ensure every project in the cluster achieves approved milestones quality and safety so that energization and tariff start are not delayed

2. Bid leadership for the cluster: Shape competitive and execution credible bids with Commercial Design Survey Land and Finance drawing on institutional knowledge of the cluster

3. Stakeholder and clearance strategy: Build and maintain relationships with state utilities SLDCs forest and wildlife authorities district administration and local leaders to unlock permissions access and outages

4. Readiness and assurance: Assure readiness for foundations erection and stringing substation works and energization windows by reviewing Project Head plans and prerequisites

5. Culture of safety and quality: Set zero harm expectations and ensure continuous improvement through audits learning reviews and corrective actions

6. Leadership bench: Develop Project Heads and site leadership capabilities and manage performance and succession across the cluster.

B. Core Responsibilities

  • Cluster project plan and reviews: Approve project L2/L3/L4 roadmaps across cluster; run monthly cluster reviews focused on critical path risks, mitigations, and decision clarity
  • Bidding and pre-bid orchestration: Lead state scans, competitor intelligence, pre-bid engagement, route options, and capex and BoQ checks; coordinate risk registers and review packs with the CCO and CFO
  • Mobilization oversight: Ensure early works, land and ROW strategy, forest clearances, logistics, and vendor mobilization are in place so that the NTP-to-construction cycle is compressed
  • Progress, cost, and change control: Track earned value, commitments, and cash curves; chair variance reviews; approve changes and claims with Commercial and Legal to protect IRR
  • Interface management: Lead engagement with EPCs, OEMs, and utilities; resolve inter-agency dependencies and secure planned outages required for execution
  • Quality and HSE leadership: Enforce life-saving rules and quality checkpoints; investigate incidents and drive closure of corrective actions
  • Coaching of Project Heads: Set goals, mentor PHs, review look-aheads and recovery plans, and ensure adherence to playbooks and reporting cadence; PHs regularly report status to the Project Director
  • Handover to O&M: Ensure snag closure, documentation readiness, and performance ramp-up for reliable tariff operations
