Job summary

Macquarie Group in Hyderabad seeks a Vice President for Fund Management to lead fund accounting, reporting, and analysis across investor, financial and regulatory aspects. You will review financial statements, perform variance analysis, and oversee monthly/quarterly reports while coordinating with global teams and stakeholders.

The role requires extensive post-qualification experience, IFRS expertise, and willingness to travel internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate accounting qualification (CA/CPA) required.
• 12–16 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver updated reporting, analysis, and commentary on fund management and client services for structures within Macquarie Asset Management.
• Review and approve financial statements and perform variance analysis.
• Liaise with stakeholders and oversee monthly and quarterly reports to ensure accuracy; address queries from internal and external parties.

In this role, you will be focusing on fund accounting and reporting, covering investor, financial and regulatory aspects for fund structures. You will also be responsible in reviewing and approving financial statements and conducting variance analysis. As Vice President in Fund Management, you are also expected to liaise with various stakeholders and oversee monthly and quarterly reports ensuring accuracy whilst addressing queries from both internal and external parties. What role will you play?

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our high-performing team responsible for delivering updated reporting, analysis, and commentary on the fund management and client services function of structures within our Macquarie Asset Management business group.

What You Offer

• Postgraduate accounting qualification, such as CA or CPA.
• 12 to 16 years of relevant post-qualification experience with a strong background in financial

accounting and reporting services.

• Deep understanding of the reporting requirements under IFRS, with particular emphasis on

standards relevant to the banking industry.

• Ability to work in a virtual global team, manage cross-border relationships
• Willingness to travel internationally if required.
