Overview

As a VHT Maintenance Engineer, the key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the maintenance activities for various ground support equipment, including baggage tugs, aircraft pushback tugs, and conveyor belts.
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and availability of equipment.
• Conducting regular inspections and performance tests to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and minimize downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintenance procedures, including the handling of hazardous materials and waste.
• Documenting maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair histories accurately.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and enhance equipment performance.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Education & Experience

Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 8-10 years of experience in maintenance engineering within the airline and airport industry. Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing ground support equipment and vehicles.
