Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based in Bhopal. The Veterinarian will perform clinical examinations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans for pets across a range of species, with a primary focus on companion animals. Daily responsibilities include administering vaccinations, prescribing medications, performing minor procedures, and providing emergency and critical care as needed. The role also involves communicating with pet families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care, as well as maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with veterinary assistants and support staff. The Veterinarian is expected to uphold high standards of animal welfare, safety, and ethical practice while contributing to continuous improvement of clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Recognized veterinary degree (e.g., BVSc & AH or equivalent) and valid license/registration to practice veterinary medicine.
• Experience in small animal clinical practice, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and routine procedures such as vaccinations and minor surgeries.
• Strong communication skills to explain medical conditions and treatment plans clearly to pet families and collaborate effectively with the clinical team.
• Ability to perform physical examinations, interpret laboratory tests and imaging results, and make evidence-based clinical decisions.
• Commitment to animal welfare, infection control, and adherence to professional ethics and regulatory guidelines.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, manage multiple cases, and respond to urgent or emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in veterinary medicine and pet care.
• Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting in Bhopal or similar urban environment is an advantage.
