The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing tax-related data, ensuring compliance, and optimizing tax strategies through effective use of Vertex.

Key Responsibilities

• Vertex Tax System Management: Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Vertex tax software, ensuring precise configuration and seamless integration with financial systems.
  
• Tax Code Updates: Monitor and implement changes in tax codes within the Vertex system to ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations. This includes staying informed about tax rate changes and jurisdictional tax data updates.
  
• Tax Data Analysis: Utilize SQL to extract and analyze tax data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for tax optimization.
